The math for the BDC corrections shown are:
BDC calibration vs actual weather divided by significant change multiplied by correction value.
Example at LRProficiency test one:
970 hPa calibration - 1020 hPa weather = 50 hPa difference : 30 hPa significant change = appr 1.5 significant x 5 m correction value = add appr 8 meters range correction to BDC due higher air pressure.
(Just watch the film, it's alot easier than it looks on paper).
