Midnight Sun Rifle Challenge 2017 is THE Scandinavian competition to participate in if you want to develop yourself as a shooter. Good infrastructure, nice people and nice scenery. Come and explore yourself as a shooter.
This is stage 6, Switch targets,- no bipod allowed:
This stage has two target groups that forces the shooter to radically shift position when shooting the different targets. Switch target 4 times, if able, shoot each target once. For this stage, no bipod allowed but backpack and rearbag can be used.
8 shots available, time limit 2 minutes 30 seconds. Targets ø 25 cm, range 320m and 430 meters.
If you hit on the first shot, you score 100% (for that target switch, not stage total and switch to the next target group. If you hit on the second shot, you score 50% (for that target switch, not stage total) and switch to the next target group. If you miss the second shot, you receive 0 points (for that target switch, not stage total) . The stage can be completed with 4 shots which also gives a perfect score. In case of equal score, fastest shooter is ranked highest.
Training and strategy tip for this stage:
The LR Proficiency test will give you the basic skills needed for this stage. Try to get both elbows and torso supported and shoot at a steady pace of 20-30 seconds of each setup and shot.
In this film the shots shown are not matched to the actual shooter.
